Great news comes from many sources. Today we have a ton of news thanks to one of our readers, Mike Kenny, who e-mailed to tell us he’d bought a couple of DVDs from Shout! Factory, and when he received them “In my package I also got a 2011 Video Catalog from them detailing all the titles they have released so far as well as the remaining titles for the year.” Mike was kind enough to scan several sample pages from the catalog, which you can see at the bottom.
Among the not-yet-announced items Mike found in this catalog was a word that 10 Things I Hate About You – Season 1, Volume 2 will be available in the near-future as a “Shout! Select” online store exclusive title. This 3-disc release will contain the remaining episodes of the show. Shout! Factory hasn’t formally announced the item yet, though, so no date or cost have been finalized yet. We obviously don’t have any other details for it, nor box art. Stay tuned, however, and we’ll keep you updated as further developments occur! Again, our thanks to Mike for taking the time to fill us in.

Amber Pollock (Cassie Scerbo) is the queen bee of Patrick Boone High School, and the only thing missing to her reign is the Prom Queen title. Having worked for years towards obtaining the crown and most popular girl status, Amber lets nothing and no one stand in her way. That bad behavior comes back to literally haunt her when a freak accident at Prom ends Amber’s short, nearly-perfect life and, facing an unpleasant after-life, she is given the task that could save her soul – to get the school’s least popular girl to be voted Prom Queen. Amber is sure her future is sunk when she learns her charge is none other than Lisa Sommers (Lindsey Shaw), a shy girl who makes claymation films with her three best friends and whose fashion sense is not up to Amber’s standards. As for Lisa herself, the last thing she wants is to be Prom Queen, but when Amber offers to help her get the attention of her crush, Nick, Lisa gives Amber the benefit of the doubt. Will a head-to-toe makeover and some confidence-building advice really be able to turn a shy and awkward teen into a high school social power player? Only Heaven knows!
